History
Founded in 1969 by Bob Fulton, Web Industries is a classic example of a
successful entrepreneurial start-up in America. With only a little money scraped
together from friends and family, Bob initially focused Web on providing the
unmet need of regional converting services (slitting and rewinding of
flexible materials) in the Boston area. Over the years, the business model was
refined and new manufacturing capabilities and locations were added to solve
customer problems.
Today, the company has grown to six locations totaling 475,000 sq. ft. of
manufacturing space in the United States. The people at Web have established the
company as an industry leader and enjoy long-standing relationships with various
Fortune 500 clients in multiple industries.
In addition to state-of-the-art converting services, Web offers an array of
value-added services such as automated assembly and packaging, specialty film
extrusion, electronic document control and complete supply chain management
solutions.

Employee Ownership
In 1985, Web became an employee-owned company. Through an Employee Stock
Ownership Plan, employees own 100% of the company.
